Buffalo Brain helps you identify worthwhile AI opportunities, test them with representative work, and turn the ones that succeed into useful systems. We start with the task you need to improve and the standard the result needs to meet.
Who this is for
This service fits organizations with a business problem to investigate or an AI prototype that needs a clearer path to everyday use. Useful starting points include:
- Staff spending time finding information across documents and internal knowledge.
- Repeated document review, extraction, or classification work.
- Drafting or summarizing tasks where a person can review the result.
- An AI experiment that works in a demo but needs evaluation, integration, or operating controls.
You do not need to arrive with a model or vendor selected. Bring the problem, examples of the work, and a person who can judge whether the output is useful.
What you receive
We agree on deliverables for the stage you need. An engagement can cover:
- An opportunity assessment. A defined use case, the data it requires, and a recommendation on whether AI is a suitable approach.
- A working prototype and evaluation. Test results from representative examples, including failure cases, accuracy, and usage cost.
- An integrated application. An agreed implementation that connects the AI capability to the systems and people who will use it.
- A handover for operation. Documentation, known limitations, review steps, and a way to check output quality and cost over time.
How the work happens
We define success before choosing technology. Together, we identify the users, data permissions, cost constraints, and consequences of an incorrect result. We also establish where people need to review or approve the output.
Next, we test a focused version of the idea. We compare the results with the agreed criteria and consider whether conventional software or automation would serve the task better. You can use the findings to decide whether to proceed, adjust the approach, or stop.
For delivery, we agree on the integrations, testing, deployment, and handover the application needs. We define ongoing monitoring, maintenance, and provider costs as part of that scope. A successful prototype is evidence to build on; we still need to test how the application handles real operating conditions.
Discuss an AI opportunity
Have a business problem to solve or an AI idea to explore? Start with a complimentary 15-minute conversation about what you want to improve and whether we can help. You don’t need a model, vendor, or technical plan selected.
If an assessment or prototype is the right next step, we’ll agree on the scope and fee before starting.
