Buffalo Brain reviews your cloud spending and architecture so you can decide what to change, what to investigate, and what to leave alone. You receive recommendations that account for reliability, operating needs, and the effort required to make each change.

Who this is for

This review is for business owners, technical leads, and operations leaders responsible for an existing cloud environment. It can help when:

  • Your cloud bill is growing and you need to understand why.
  • You suspect unused resources or excess capacity, but need evidence before removing them.
  • Your environment has changed over time without an architecture review.
  • You are considering a migration, consolidation, or other major change and want an independent assessment.

What you receive

  • A picture of current spending. Understand the main cost drivers, usage patterns, and commitments that affect your bill.
  • Architecture and operational findings. See where configuration, capacity, or design choices create avoidable cost or reliability risks.
  • Prioritized recommendations. Each proposed change includes supporting evidence, estimated savings where the data supports them, assumptions, reliability tradeoffs, and implementation effort.
  • A plan for checking results. Know how to verify whether a change delivers the expected benefit.

We walk through the findings with you, answer questions, and help you decide which actions deserve attention first. If the evidence is incomplete or a proposed saving is not worth the disruption, we say so.

How the review works

We start by agreeing on a workload or bounded cloud environment and the decisions you need to make. Together, we confirm platform coverage, the information needed, and the delivery schedule before work begins.

You provide recent billing and usage information, available architecture documentation, and a technical contact. We review suitable exports or use approved read-only access. We also discuss reliability requirements, staffing, existing commitments, and planned changes so the recommendations reflect how your business operates.

The review covers assessment and recommendations. We agree on implementation work, including production changes or migrations, as a separate scope. Savings estimates depend on the available evidence and the changes you choose to make; they are not guaranteed results.

Discuss your cloud environment

Tell us which cloud platform you use, what prompted the review, and the question you need answered. We will discuss whether a focused review fits and what information would help us define the scope.
